This is the latest image of my Honey Bees this past Sunday.
The 'girls' are busy drawing out comb and making honey from Nectar and providing homes for their sisters. Soon I will put on the supers with honey frames in them and we will see how much I get before winter.

Maura O'Connell concert 3-4-11

At the wonderful Sheldon Concert Hall was a fantastic concert by Maura O'Connell.

Just returned from 5 weeks in the Philippines where I visited 5 islands by boat, bus, tricycle, motortricycle, pedicab, walking and flying. The weather was great about 85 degrees the first few weeks and cloudy and stormy the last 2 weeks. Got stuck on the Camotes islands for an extra 2 days because of rough water so the ferry boats stopped running. About 35 Koreans missed their international flight the next day. So if you plan on visiting islands be sure to give yuourself a buffer of a few days.
More later after I recover from my 10 hour jet lag.

The finale of the Saint Louis Musicians for Haiti at the Sheldon Concert Hall in which we raised $20,000 for doctors withoutborders last month.

Haiti Relief Benefit in St. Louis, MO

Haiti benefit at the Sheldon Concert Hall last week raises $20,000 to aid Doctors without borders. Thanks to all who attended. Everyone was so generous and also had a great concert listening to the 8 groups donating their talents to the cause.

This is my lunch last week in Los Cobanos, El Salvador on the sandy beach in 95 degree weather. A red Snapper caught during the night and brought in on the small fishing boats that morning. I got to look in the cooler and pick the one I wanted. Boy was it good.

Reception

The opening for my photo exhibition was a huge sucess with estimates of 300+ people attending. Indian dress and food with beer was flowing as was the local wines. I know you will enjoy it and the closing date is Dec. 31st.

One Week from today in my opening at the Cedarhurst Museum in Mt. Vernon IL of my trip to India. It will be on exhibit for 2 months untill the end of the year.
Rajasthan: Ancient Traditions and Modern Colors.

Rhonda Vincent and the Rage Played an afternoon concert at the jSheldon Concert Hall last Sunday the 4th of October. She gave an outstanding performance and the crowd was very involved and 'in to it'. This is the first concert since recording her DVD special at this venue a couple of years ago.

OK Folks, less that 5 weeks for my big solo exhibition at the Cedarhurst Museum in Mt. Vernon IL. the title is ; Rajasthan, Ancient traditions and modern colors. Stay tuned for more info.

These billboards located all around St. Louis are the latest creation of my photography and my colleague Carol Carter who did the commission and watercolor portrait. This is for a national competition for finding the best church choir in America. the competieion begins in a few weeks, so stay tuned for the results.
